[jira] [Commented] (PHOENIX-1904) bin scripts user incorrect variable for locating hbase conf

Nick Dimiduk commented on PHOENIX-1904:
---------------------------------------

I think we should fix phoenix_utils.py to reference HBASE_CONF_DIR. If we must maintain backward compatibility, we can check HBASE_CONF_PATH first, then HBASE_CONF_DIR, and then default to pwd.

> in bin/phoenix_utils.py, we're building a classpath based on an incorrect environment variable. 'HBASE_CONF_PATH' is used:
> While bigtop is registering 'HBASE_CONF_DIR' for us.

> There's even a local work-around for this problem in end2endTest.py
