[jira] [Commented] (CODEC-212) Create a minimal Digest command line utility: org.apache.commons.codec.digest.Digest

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CODEC-212?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15285057#comment-15285057 ]

Gary Gregory commented on CODEC-212:
------------------------------------

I'm open to the idea but I do not have the bandwidth to execute this task ATM.

Wouldn't this also make this component a multi-module project?

Running "java -jar xxx.jar args" would also assume the commons-codec jar is found, another wrinkle and support question to field.
