piccolo repackaging

Can someone explain to me why the piccolo jar is being repackaged into 
the org.apache.xmlbeans.impl.piccolo name space from the com.bluecast 
name space as part of the build process?  Is the piccolo jar somehow 
modified from the upstream version?
