As Stephen points out, Excalibur community has re-organized just about 
everything and in the process dropped all the previously established Gump 
support. I think this is outright tragic, and I am again making an attempt to 
bring it back up.

In the process, I am depending on that <maven> tag in project works. I may 
also have done something wrong...

Furthermore, the Excalibur community dropped some projects altogether;
  -  excalibur-compatibility
  -  excalibur-configuration
  -  excalibur-instrument-altrmi

Any general complaints should be CCedn to dev@excalibur.apache.org to increase 
the awareness of the Gump importance in that community.
