Currently, one can find the latest stable version from the [Downloads Page |https://beam.apache.org/get-started/downloads/] in the "GET STARTED" pull down. It's better to make it more visible for users to find out. 

One improvement is to *add a "Download Beam" button* linking to the "Downloads Page" to the home page, like [Spark|http://spark.apache.org/] and [Flink|http://flink.apache.org/].
