JavaOne Session
Hello,
As you may have heard, it is time for submission of JavaOne 2001 papers.
Batik would be a great topic to present at JavaOne and I think we should
present a paper. I suggest we present a paper collectively (there are
instances where there are multiple speakers on a single session).
There are many things we could talk about. Here are two possible topics:
a. Batik: SVG Graphics on the Java platform. What is Batik? What does it
bring? Compare SVG to Java graphics (portable data/portable code).
Discuss how the Java platform helped for the development. Discuss
how the various imaging models helped...
b. Batik: lessons learned from the trenches :-). Not so much on Batik
itself, but more on the lessons we have learned doing the project.
A kind of 'tips and tricks' session.
Please add to this list of possible session. Once we have a list, may
be we can agree on one (or more: we could have a session and a BOF)
and then submit a paper. The deadline is early December.
Cheers.
V.
