[jira] [Created] (HAMA-617) Add setOutputPath() in job

Choonho Son created HAMA-617:
--------------------------------

             Summary: Add setOutputPath() in job
                 Key: HAMA-617
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HAMA-617
             Project: Hama
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: documentation
            Reporter: Choonho Son
            Priority: Minor

When I tested RealTime.java in Distributed mode.

There are error log like:
attempt_201207302337_0015_000002_0: 12/07/31 15:34:23 FATAL bsp.GroomServer: Error running child
attempt_201207302337_0015_000002_0: java.io.IOException: Undefined job output-path

So We need to add following line, even though it is not necessary

job.setOutputPath(new Path("/tmp"));

[jira] [Commented] (HAMA-617) Add setOutputPath() in job

Thomas Jungblut commented on HAMA-617:
--------------------------------------

That is some output system stuff that needs to be done. I believe it was the Accumulo project who noted that.
We have done this, because it made problems with downstream projects, so I will close that as won't fix.

You have to provide the path, even if you defined the null output format. I also noted that in the wiki, but have forgotten to set this.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
