Portlet Links

Hello I've been using the jetspeed taglib to create links inside portlets

example:

<a href="<jetspeed:portletlink name="portletName"
/>&parameter=value">link</a>

one thing I've noticed is that the link adds "action=controls.Maximize".

why is that?

You can display a portlet only using one of its available modes: maximize or
print friendly (perhaps info and customize).
