HTTPS exception - help needed!
The code below:
try
{
url = new URL (urlstr);
}
catch(MalformedURLException e)
{
System.err.println("Caught MalformedURLException (" +
e.getMessage() + ")" );
throw e;
}
generates an exception "unknown protocol: https" when I feed an HTTPS URL to
it. It works fine with an HTTP URL. Both URLs are accessible from Web
browser. What I am missing? Please help!
Thanks a bunch,
- leo

Have you installed the SSL extensions (http://java.sun.com/products/jsse/)
as stated in the docs?
