[FlexJS] Error during downloading with MD5 signature
Hi Guys,
I've just tried to download nightly build of FlexJS and got this error:
Version 3.1.0 (windows)
Using Locale: pl_PL
Pobrano URL SDK z CGI.
AIR version 16.0
Flash Player version 16.0
Creating Apache FlexJS home
Tworzenie folderu tymczasowego
Downloading Apache FlexJS

Verifying Apache FlexJS MD5 Signature
The Apache FlexJS MD5 Signature of the downloaded files does not match the
reference value. The file is invalid, installation is aborted.
How to update MD5 signature ? Anyone can do this for me ?
I am starting to play with FlexJS a bit :)

You probably can. And feel free to edit the script to delete that folder.
It just hasn’t been high on my priority list.

Thanks Alex it worked perfectly, but everything is weights 1.6 GB. I see some
additional things inside folder "in" - I am wondering whether I need these
archives "apache-flex-sdk-4.12.1-bin.zip" or
"apache-flex-falconjx-0.0.3-bin.zip". - Probably I can remove it without the
problem.

Hi Piotr,
If you’ve grabbed the nightly binary distribution build from [2], then all
you need to follow is the instructions in the READme about using the
Binary Distribution, which should just be to run
ant -f installer.xml

Alex,
I've started to look closer to this, but I'm not sure whether I'm looking
into right things.
In order to use ant installer script for download I have to follow this [1]
instruction ?

Hmm, looks like it may have had a problem with the Jburg download. I’m
not sure if everything else got installed correctly. You can try using
Ant to install FlexJS if you want.
The main Flex SDK is downloaded to grab some config files that make Flash
Builder happy. I’ve never bothered to update which SDK it grabbed since
those files rarely change. I hope to revisit that for the next FlexJS
release and get rid of that dependency if possible.

Hi Piotr,
The log says that the download isn’t completing. (Notice bytes loaded
never matches bytes total).
We’ve seen this happen in the past when the browsers cache a bad copy.
Trying clearing browser caches, especially for IE, even if you don’t use
IE, and try again.

Hmm. I tried twice, once with cache on, once with cache off and it worked
both times.
Please try again, and also turn on Verbose Logging in the right click menu
and post the results if it fails.

How many times did you try? Sometimes, you will actually get a bad
download.
