Problem with xerces built under Solaris C++ 5.0

I have run the shell script that was recommended in the archive to get
around the problem with the template definitions. The sample programs now
compile; however, I now get the following error when I run a program:

ld.so.1: DOMCount: fatal: relocation error: file
/export/home/tkach//xerces-c-src_1_1_0/lib/libxerces-c1_1.so: symbol
__1cORefHashTableOf4nIENameMap__2t6MkIkb_v_: referenced symbol not found

Any suggestions?

This was addressed couple of times in this forum. The solaris tar version in
the download site doesnot have solaris 5.0 support. The support is there in
the source code though. You need to extract the code from cvs (in
xml.apache.org) and recompile it to get rid of all those compilation problems

I've replied to this note in xerces-c-dev@xml.apache.org mail list. Please
subscribe to that and check your answers. Due to heavy load of mails in
xerces-dev  list we've split forums into xerces-c-dev and xerces-j-dev.
Please take the advantage of that and in future respond to every c related
querries to only xerces-c-dev mail list.
