m1 and m2 repos @ apache and ibiblio

All--

I'm adding support for uploading a release to Maven1 and 2
repositories to Beehive's Ant build and have what is really an ASF
process question. In order to upload JARs to *both* of these
repositories:

http://www.ibiblio.org/maven <--- Maven 1
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2 <--- Maven 2

is it sufficient to upload into:

http://www.apache.org/dist/java-repository

where some magic syncs this with both of the ibiblio repos? Or since
w.a.o/d/j-r looks like a Maven1 repo, are there other steps needed to
push an Apache release from the ASF into the M2 repo?

Thanks for any help, and great work on M2, it's very impressive. :)

Eddie

Robert started this: http://www.apache.org/dev/release-publishing.html

You might like to add to that.

Thanks,

Wendy--

Perfect; thanks for the explanation. I'll look into putting this
into some ASF documentation somewhere so it's institutionalized. :)

Cheers,
Eddie

Yes, uploading there will magically sync to 'both' ibiblio repos.
(IIRC, the m1 repo doesn't really exist, it's done with rewrite
rules.)
