Description of problem from AIRAVATA-2508:

One issue I ran into while testing is that cancelling a gateway request resulted in an error. Canceling the request from the gateway requester is calling AdminController::updateGateway and it is failing while trying to validate the admin password. However, AdminController::updateGateway should only be called for admin actions. Instead canceling a gateway request should go to the GatewayRequestUpdateController. So I'm not sure that the bug fix here caused a regression; I think this was already broken.
