WinCVS instead of Tortoise SVN??? Is it possible?
My co-workers suggested we should use WinCVS instead of Tortoise SVN. Is
it possible to use WinCVS as the client for Sub Version instead of
Tortoise svn?

No, it is not. There are other GUI clients for Subversion that run on
windows (RapidSVN, Subclipse, AnkhSVN), but WinCVS is purely a CVS
client.

As the name implies, WinCVS is for CVS and not for SVN, so no you cannot
use SVN. If you're looking for a standalone client, you could have a
look at rapidsvn (rapidsvn.tigris.org).

Not to my knowledge. If they like WinCVS, they might want to look at
RapidSVN and SmartSVN. Both of those are more like WinCVS.
