A third version of the patch that provides the ability to specify all Netty ClientBootstrap options if necessary.  The options are passed as a Map<String, Object> to the NettyTransceiver constructor.  I've tested this in trunk and the 1.5 branch, and I haven't seen any deadlocks/hanging.
