I had started earlier to make a template repo that used vcpkg and cmake to link against Arrow, such that one could install dependencies and build with only 3 commands. Got it somewhat working on MacOS, but in theory should be able to get that to work on all platforms. https://github.com/wjones127/arrow_cpp_example
