Extend HTTP Endpoint
I would like to extend the HTTP component in order to make a binding
component for a protocol that I need to implement. What I have is an xml
protocol that I need to support called SOS. What I need is an HTTP port
open that will accept this type of xml message, do something with it and
then push it to the bus. My thought was that I could extend the HTTP
component and create an SOS component. After looking though the HTTP
component code it looks like I should be able to just extend the Consumer /
Provider Processors to do what I want. Is this true? What else to I need
to extend in order to allow me to configure this binding component like:
<sos:endpoint>...</sos:endpoint>
In an xbean configuration file?
Does this sound like the correct way to implement this?
Thanks,
Doug
