Amila Sampath commented on MYNEWT-118:
--------------------------------------
Hi Aditi,
I am Amila Sampath ,a 3rd year engineering student of university of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I have experiences with C/C#/C++/Java since 2012 and Android application developing since 2014. I have already made an Android application for a local communication network service provider (Sri Lanka Telecom PLC.), and beside I have made apps for communicate with Arduino. So I think this project suit for me.
Since I'm interested with this project I have some problems with the project.
1. Is the communications are done with Bluetooth communication only? I think, using Wi-if will speedup the communication speed. Or, If you use a web server, the communication can done in long distance.
2. As described in the project, I feel this project can be done within month or two. Therefore, If I selected and if I finish this project soon, and if I have some ideas to be add to the application, can I add them?
I'm looking forward to hear form you.
Thank you.
Amila.
P.S.: I would like to contact you if it is possible.

> Skills: C, Java or Objective-C or Swift, basic knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy
> Description: Android and iOS have built-in platform support for Bluetooth Low Energy in the central role and provide APIs that apps can use to discover devices, query for services, and read/write characteristics. Utilize these available APIs to build your own application that interacts with a device running Mynewt. An example of an application is one that graphically displays all the available LEDs on a board and allows the user to make them blink in any desired pattern.
