[jira] [Resolved] (ACCUMULO-1622) Value.toString() doesn't respect getSize()

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1622?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Christopher Tubbs resolved ACCUMULO-1622.
-----------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

After further investigation, it turns out this is not a bug. I was misled by the javadoc on get() which says "is only valid between 0 and getSize()-1, but getSize() always returns byte[].length of the underlying byte array.

> Value.toString() uses get() to get the underlying byte array, but it does not respect the offset/length of the byte array when constructing a new String.
