[VOTE] (the sequel) : new excalibur release
Dear all,
This is my second attempt at creating a new release. I took the provided
comments into consideration and uploaded the binaries here:
http://people.apache.org/~jheymans/
There are 4 archives:
- excalibur-r508111-15022007.tar.gz : application jars only
- excalibur-r508111-15022007-src.tar.gz : source archive
- excalibur-maven2-repo-r508111-15022007.tar.gz : m2 repo archive,
contains jars, source jars and javadoc jars
- excalibur-javadoc-r508111-15022007.tar.gz : aggregated javadoc archive
The release was created using
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/excalibur/tags/excalibur-first-maven2-release/
Please cast your votes.
Regards
Jorg

I sent an email to Niclas, Carsten and Berin to get involved. Hopefully
that should be enough, if not i'll extend the vote again.
Thanks for the feedback!

And finally, +1 from me too!
I had an odd issue with a test that kept maxing out my CPU on each
build (MonitorTestCase), but otherwise everything else looks fine.
Thanks for the efforts Jorg.

Actually, we need a few more votes from PMC members. If we can't get
enough to actual get a release out, then we really are in trouble.

+1 for the release.
Sorry for being late, but I only had the weekend to check the release
and then email communication failed :(
Anyway, great work, Jorg!

I'm downloading now and should be able to cast my vote tomorrow.
It's Chinese New Year here, so it's a little hectic.
Thanks for taking this on Jorg!

+1 from me too. I upgraded (and cleaned up) all the POMs in Cocoon trunk and
everything works fine. Thanks Jorg!

I've tried to download the files four times now and each time I end up
with corrupted files (md5sum's don't match). I think it's my
connection here in Taiwan which is admittedly a little flakey. Can
someone else confirm these downloads? I'm sorry I'm having so much
trouble with with Jorg. Thanks for your patience.

Weird, but no excuse for not doublechecking this myself. I've recreated
the source archive and regenerated the checksums. Note that the file is
now called excalibur-src-r508111-15022007.tar.gz to be more consistent
with the other files.
I've verified the checksums and don't see the problem J Aarron has, Leo
are you also seeing this ?

I'm getting the same thing. Also, the md5 sums don't match up for me
(except for src tarball). I've got a pretty weak internet connection
here so at first I thought it was due to bad downloads, but a second
attempt didn't fix it. Jorg, could you re-post?
