Geoffrey Corey commented on INFRA-11188:
----------------------------------------
See https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-apache/tree/1.6.0#docroot_group for setting docroot user and group owner, or just telling the module to not manage them.
> Incorrect ownership of /var/www/projects.apache.org/site
> --------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: INFRA-11188
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11188
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Puppet
> Environment: projects-vm.apache.org
> Reporter: Sebb
>
> Something keeps resetting the ownership of the following directories:
> /var/www/projects.apache.org/site
> /var/www/reporter.apache.org/site
> Instead of being owned by www-data, they are owned by root.
> This causes problems for SVN updates.
> It looks like the directories are being created by Puppet as part of creating the websites, as the docroot entries.
> Presumably the ownership details can also be set up somewhere, but I cannot find where this is done.
