URL size problem during redirect (orbeon+jetspeed)

Hi Guys,

Our application uses tomcat as the app server with orbeon as xforms engine.
Orbeon screens are exposed as portlets in JetSpeed.

Now for certain screen operations, our application fails on Internet
Explorer. On debugging I found that the redirect URL from Pluto container is
more than 3K in size. IE can handle only a maximum of 2K.

Is there a way to reduce the length of rewritten JetSpeed URLs?

Thanks,
Jayson

Could you create a JIRA issue ?
We can look into pre-loading the navigation state before the action's
redirect
