[~mjsax] Our Streams app has now been running in production for 2 straight weeks without any issues, with daily throughput figures peaking at around 150k/sec on one topic.

So thanks a lot for your help in clearing up these issues for us!

This also means of course that our issue was not a Kafka problem, hence irrelevant to the issue that Matthew talked about.
