why there is no apr_save_brigade?
Anybody can tell why there is no apr_save_brigade in libapr?

right. but is there a reason why does it exist as ap_save_brigade and not
apr_brigade_save?

Because nobody added it? (It would be apr_brigade_save).
I'm actually more concerned with adding an apr_brigade_consume;
it's used in the ssl stack already. The fact is that some folks
reading a brigade will simply consume the buckets contained
within, and it's sub-optimal to leave them lying about.
