[jira] [Commented] (SSHD-1226) Need help for SFTP LS directory with custom attributes

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SSHD-1226?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17443950#comment-17443950 ]

Lyor Goldstein commented on SSHD-1226:
--------------------------------------

The images provided show how the +client+ renders the SFTP attributes response. I don't think it has any bearing on SSHD code. If however you wish to add custom attributes to the LS response, then this is another issue altogether fraught with dangers since you might be introducing possible incompatible extensions to the protocol. Theoretically, this is possible as indicated by https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-secsh-filexfer-02#section-4 it is possible to add extension attributes - I need to examine the SFTP client/server code though in order to see if we provide any user hooks to allow for the manipulation of such attributes
