   Port of the master fix; the test was run on master only, CI covers this line.
   
   The `-` and `!` checks in `performProfileActivation` and `performProjectActivation` read the trimmed token, but the `+` check read the raw one, so `-P "a, +b"` asked for a profile named `+b` and `" +?e"` lost its optional marker. Follow-up to the discussion in #13480.
   
   Verified: the new `MavenInvokerActivationTest` fails before the change (`+b` and `+?e` taken as ids) and passes after; all 843 `maven-cli` tests pass.
