HTTP request parameters, both text and file
Summary: HTTP request parameters, both text and file
Product: JMeter
Version: Nightly (Please specify date)
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: HTTP

Hi,
I am not sure if this is a bug or an enhancement :)
I would like to use in the HTTP post request both a "normal" parameter, for
example type the parameter name in the "Send parameters in the request"
(filename=thisisafilename) and also the actual file, when I type the actual
file location and parameter name in the lower part in the "Send a file in the
request".
Now it seems that the parameter filename is included in the HTTP request, but
the actual file is not.
I would like to ask if this is a feature in JMeter, or a bug ? Anyway I suggest
that both types of parameters could be used in the same request.
I am using the nightly build from 8th March 2004.
