> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Android
> Affects Versions: 5.2.0, 5.1.1
> Environment: I see this problem on Android 4.4.2/Galaxy Note II
> and Android 5.1.1/Nexus 7
> Reporter: Rob Close

> On Android, app is running, and you press home button. When you return to the app everything continues on. If you press back button, when you return events from native to JS are no longer fired.
> I set two breakpoints in NativeToJsMessageQueue.java: one in reset and one in setBridgeMode.
> On app startup, setBridgeMode is called twice. -1 for the first call and 2 for the second call.
> After resuming the app after back button is pressed, reset is called, which calls setBridgeMode(-1). setBridgeMode is not called again, and the bridge stops working.
