The naming convention between WebUI and metrics are not consistent, e.g. "Record send" for NumRecordsOut. Further more, Flink 1.15 developed new feature to support different pre- and post- sink topologies[1].  New metrics e.g. NumRecordsSend has been developed to measure records number sent to the external system.
