This is the simplest projection in principle, but quite different from all other projections in the implementation details because it can be represented by an affine transform instead than non-linear formulas.

This projection is described in §1.3.14.1 of IOGP Publication 373-7-2 – Geomatics Guidance Note number 7, part 2 – April 2015.
