Configure Option: ./configure --with-mpm=prefork --enable-so --enable-ssl
--with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl
Problem: Configure was doing well until shortly after entering the
"..../httpd-2.0.55/srclib/apr-util" directory to start using the configure file
there. There, when it get to the Berkeley DB part where it took almost 2 hours
searching for the Berkeley DB which I don't have on this AIX machine. I didn't
try Apache 2.2.0 to see if that work or not.
Solution: Configure file in ".../httpd-2.0.55/srclib/apr-util" should not search
for Berkeley DB if it doesn't exist on this machine. Don't know if it is as
result of bad scripting or something but the Configure definitely should not be
taking almost 2 hours looking for that.

P.S. Forgot to mentioned that the configure file had completed successfully in
the end. Was able to compile and install apache successfully.

configure cannot know something is not there unless it looks for it. You can
pass --without-berkeley-db to configure if you don't want the search to happen.

It only takes that long if you have particularly poor hardware. Using a
different sh implementation can speed up configure too.

Surely configure can complete it's search in 5 or 10 minutes instead of almost
2 hours. It's a matter of using a better algorithm.
