[jira] Commented: (HBASE-2279) Hbase Shell does not have any tests

Alexey Kovyrin commented on HBASE-2279:
---------------------------------------

I'm finishing first phase of refactoring for the shell that should make it a bit easier to test. Then I'll definitely take those tests embedded in ruby modules (if $0 == __FILE__) and will turn them into test-unit tests.

> Hbase shell - pretty critical part of hbase distribution does not have any tests for its ruby code. This causes problems when some hbase internal APIs change.
