jetspeed versions 1 and 2
Hi all,
does anybody knows exactly when does jetspeed1 changes officially to
jetspeed2? I mean the date, for example May 2004 or September 2006,
whatever.
Thanks

Jetspeed-1 and Jetspeed-2 are rather two different projects.
The Jetspeed-2 project was created and build from scratch as a complete new portal project based upon the JSR-168 specification (nowadays
also implementing JSR-286).
So you can't say Jetspeed-1 "changed" into Jetspeed-2, rather they exist (or existed, see below) side-by-side.
The first official release of Jetspeed-2 (2.0) was made available on December 8th, 2005.
Note also: Jetspeed-1 is now no longer actively maintained, and as such "retired" since December 4th, 2008.
See for further information the Portals News page: http://portals.apache.org/news.html

Ate
