Jason Lowe resolved MAPREDUCE-7019.

    Resolution: Invalid

Closing this since I believe the error is coming from the program being launched by the streaming job rather than an issue with the streaming framework code.  If this is incorrect, please provide details showing where the streaming framework code is going awry.
