[jira] [Commented] (CB-2203) CordovaLib and upgrading instructions for iOS

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2203?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13554491#comment-13554491 ]

Shazron Abdullah commented on CB-2203:
--------------------------------------

I've looked at the 2.3.0 docs, they seem ok to me. The permanent location is for the whole 2.3.0 install. Step 9 shows you how to update CordovaLib:
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/2.3.0/guide_upgrading_ios_index.md.html#Upgrading%20Cordova%20iOS

Am I missing something?

> In the "Upgrading Cordova iOS" guide, it seems to be assuming the old project format, where CordovaLib was in a shared directory rather than in the project's directory. As I understand it, this changed with issue #CB-1526.
> Step 1 says to extract Cordova to a permanent location. And there's nothing in there about updating your project's copy of CordovaLib to the latest version.
> Also, don't we need to upgrade any of the other files in Classes, like MainViewController.h?
