Paulo Motta resolved CASSANDRA-12846.

    Resolution: Duplicate

It's very likely that this is caused by CASSANDRA-12580 as those may increase repair times significantly, so I suggest you to upgrade to a version with that fix and if the long repair times continue please reopen this ticket.
