   @zhanghang1989 I am not able to reproduce the issue on an AWS P3.16xLarge instance.
   Here are the steps I followed : 
   ```
   git clone --recursive https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet.git
    cd incubator-mxnet/
   make -j $(nproc) USE_OPENCV=1 USE_BLAS=openblas USE_CUDA=1 USE_CUDA_PATH=/usr/local/cuda USE_CUDNN=1 DEV=1
   ```
   I have the same CUDA version, CUDNN Version and Ubuntu version as mentioned by you in the above comment.
