[jira] Resolved: (XAP-197) No escape syntax for data binding
strings
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XAP-197?page=all ]
James Margaris resolved XAP-197.
--------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Now any attribute value starting with \ goes through some escape logic. It changes '\\' to '\'. '\{' to '{' and '\}' to '}'
(Technically that last one isn't really needed but it is consistent)

> An attribute in the form {...} will always be interpreted as data bound and resolved into something. However if you want to have the attribute actually *be* {...} you are out of luck.
> We need to support something like \{....} -> {....}
