OpenJDK 16 Early Access build 21**is now available at

Oracle JRE and JDK Cryptographic Roadmap has been updated [1]
* Oracle has announced plans to add support for x25519 and x448 named
elliptic curve groups to TLS.
* Support is targeted for JDK 11 with the January 2021 CPU release.

Apart from the reported issue with javac + maven - -Xdoclint:missing
current ZooKeeper version builds and tests passes on latest JDK16
tested on Linux 64bit (Fedora)
We haven't still set up again a new CI system that continuously builds and
test against latest EA, I have tested the build locally
