[jira] [Created] (DIRSTUDIO-1215) Getting invalid certificate for binary certificate field

Preben Nilsson created DIRSTUDIO-1215:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Getting invalid certificate for binary certificate field
                 Key: DIRSTUDIO-1215
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-1215
             Project: Directory Studio
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: studio-ldapbrowser
    Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M14
         Environment: Windows 7, java 8
            Reporter: Preben Nilsson
         Attachments: image-2019-03-19-09-14-38-598.png, image-2019-03-19-09-15-06-623.png, image-2019-03-19-09-15-53-346.png

I have created an LDAP schema, that has a binary certificate attribute. Looking at instances of that schema in M13 looks fine, and the certificate editor opens the certificate correctly.

But when I look at the same instances in M14, the value is changed to "Invalid Certificate (xxxx Bytes).

The symptoms are similar to DIRSTUDIO-1108, but in M14 neither LDAP nor LDAPS works.

Entering instances in the tool looks OK:

But when committing the entry, the interpretation of the certificate fails:
