Exception Handling / Error documentation

Hi folks,

a few questions are paving their way:

 1. Is there a table of error codes somewhere? 
 2. How about a summary of what methods throw which exceptions? 
 
 3. Some xalan exception handling examples?

I'll appreciate if you share your knowledge/experience.
