0.8 schedule update / Outstanding 0.7 JIRAs - please read.

Hi everyone,

According to the timeline previously set out, tonight will mark the
move to Release Candidate process for 0.8. I will be taking a release
candidate branch, incrementing version numbers, re-opening trunk, and
cutting a Release Candidate during the weekend.

There are still a few outstanding JIRAs requiring attention,can anyone
with knowledge of the isues update their status to indicate if they
really need fixed for 0.8 or not. There are 2 critical/blocker issues
for the Java broker that I am investigating and hope to update over
the weekend. Beyond that there is a Blocker for the C++ broker and
client, some outstanding .Net binding JIRAs, an outstanding Java
client JIRA, and a JIRA relating to the C++ build system I would like
someone familiar with the issue to look at.

I have taken a branch to be used for the 0.8 release process, mysteriously
named as 0.8-release-candidates. 

Trunk can now be considered open for 0.9 development.
