[jira] [Commented] (JCRVLT-502) Register JcrPackageRegistry in OSGi environments by default

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCRVLT-502?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17280498#comment-17280498 ]

Konrad Windszus commented on JCRVLT-502:
----------------------------------------

As a JCR-based package registry depends on a session, registering it as singleton (with admin or service user) is of little use, as primarily the JCR based package registry should be used with the session from the current request. Instead just an easy way to create new instances based on a given session should be provided from the {{Packaging}} service.
