[jira] [Created] (DIRSERVER-1812) The default admin account should never get locked forever

Kiran Ayyagari created DIRSERVER-1812:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: The default admin account should never get locked forever
                 Key: DIRSERVER-1812
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1812
             Project: Directory ApacheDS
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Kiran Ayyagari
            Assignee: Kiran Ayyagari
            Priority: Blocker

Currently when the ppolicy is enabled with password lockout feature then the default uid=admin,ou=system might get locked forever if the bind fails for allow maximum number of tries.

The best thing is to lock the account for some limited duration (for the admin account) instead of locking instead of locking forever.
