When we update the existing profile for a segment,

we call the persistenceService.update on the profile, but this API can return false, in that case the profile update failed.

in case of failure we are still doing:
 * send profile udpate event, that seem's wrong, because the profile is not update in case of failure
 * we increment the update profile count for the failed update.

I think we need to add some error handling at least to avoid doing the final step for failed update profiles.
