[jira] Created: (ROL-1800) Roller using OC4J and Oracle 10R2 database --> Error 500 on main page if I chose from shared theme to custom theme

Roller using OC4J and Oracle 10R2 database --> Error 500 on main page if I chose from shared theme to custom theme
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: ROL-1800
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/roller/browse/ROL-1800
             Project: Roller
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Theme specific
    Affects Versions: 4.0.1
Environment: Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.4, Oracle Database 10.1.2, OS = RHEL4.6
            Reporter: A R
            Assignee: Roller Unassigned

The blogs run fine using shared themes. If I click on theme and chose custom theme, the blog gets error 500: Exception Roller has encountered and logged an unexpected exception.

I have researched and tried to correct this for a week now and I cannot find out why a custom theme would do this. It happens on whether or not I actually create a template. Im not sure where I should look in order to correct this issue?

A R commented on ROL-1800:
---------------------------

My roller.log show nothing out of the orginary except for some reason it cannot connect to the SMTP server..which is funny because the strings are definitely correct and SMTP is fully accessible.

roller-startup.log is empty
