Xerces SAX Validation Information

Hi,
 
We are using Xerces 2.6 SAX for schema validation. One of our schemas has the restriction specified on string as below
 
<xsd:restriction id="stringPattern" base="xsd:string">
             <xsd:pattern value="[a-c][A-Z]*"/>
</xsd:restriction>
 
During validation , SAX displays following message incase of error.
 
Error at file /home/sirisha/xerces-c-src_2_6_0/bin/schema/NECB.xml, line 25, char 87
  Message: Datatype error: Type:InvalidDatatypeValueException, Message:Value '001' does not match regular expression facet '[a-c][A-Z]*'.
 
Can i get the id of xsd:restriction also in the SAX error message? Are there any additional APIs to be used?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
