Testing applets

Dear All,

Is it possible to test applets with JMeter?

I am trying to test an applet built using Ultra Light Components (ULC) by
Canoo Inc.

>From this applet a window pops up, any further action is through such pop up
windows.

I get the response as "Temporarily moved..."
and the location as "<p>This document you requested has moved
temporarily.</p> <p>It's now at <a
href="http://192.168.3.212:8001/c2c/pomd/authentication.do-public-login&#59"
.

According to me, it only means that the control being executed by the applet
is not recordable to JMeter.

My test plan is as given below:
	<Test Plan>
	|	<Thread Group>
	|		<Recording Controller>
	|			  <HTTP Request>
	|				<Duration Assertion>
	|					<Graph Results>
	|					<Results Table>
	|					<Results Tree>
	|
	<WorkBench>
		<HTTP Proxy Server>
