[Issue 126409] New: JRE

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126409

          Issue ID: 126409
        Issue Type: DEFECT
           Summary: JRE
           Product: General
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: code
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: edhume@gmail.com

I tried to use Help. OO does not allow me to open Help, wants a JRE.
I installed JRE. OO does not allow me to open Help, wants a JRE.
I restart my computer. OO does not allow me to open Help, wants a JRE.
I reinstall OO. OO did not give me the option of selecting a JRE. OO does not
allow me to open Help, wants a JRE.

I have not tried uninstalling OO and reinstalling, since this is too much
trouble for such a security hole as JRE (which needs to go away).

BTW -- my Remove Programs function in Windows tells me this is Java 8, update
51. Goodbye Java. Goodbye Help function.

AOO works fine with JRE.
Did you read this page: http://www.openoffice.org/download/common/java.html ?

Your bug report is being closed as NOT_AN_ISSUE due to a lack of information
which is needed in order to accurately reproduce and confirm the problem.
a) Provide details of your operating system.
b) Attach a screenshot of Tools > Options > Java dialogbox

Once this is done, please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED and we will attempt
to reproduce the issue.
