[jira] [Created] (LEGAL-338) Distribute the "Derivative Works" with 3-caused BSD is OK?

yu kon created LEGAL-338:
----------------------------

Summary: Distribute the "Derivative Works" with 3-caused BSD is OK?
                 Key: LEGAL-338
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-338
             Project: Legal Discuss
          Issue Type: Question
            Reporter: yu kon

I'm wondering if it would be possible for you to enlighten me on Apache license 2.0 regarding a following point since I couldn’t find out the proper answer for this in FAQs.

According to the last sentence of the Article 4, which starts with "You may add your own copyright...", it seems that we, software developers, can distribute "Derivative Works" under the original license terms and conditions.
Does this mean that it's going to be OK to distribute the "Derivative Works" with 3-caused BSD in case we provide them together with Apache License 2.0 for "unmodified (original) parts"?

And one more thing, we can't overwrite Apache License 2.0 with 3-caused BSD or the original license terms and conditions, correct?
